Professional Training in Holistic Animal Therapies
This module covers basic first aid techniques to recognise when an animal requires emergency veterinary care. It is intended to provide elementary knowledge to allow the animal massage therapist to assist in preparing the animal to transport to a care facility and does not qualify as any form of veterinary training by the animal massage therapist.

The anatomy and correct function of the jaw is presented and idenitifed on live animals. Muscular issues and their resultant functional implications are also discussed and relevant massage and stretching techniques are presented.

Case Studies to be submit prior to the final exam are discussed and examples are presented. Students identify potentially suitable clients and complete initial write up of personal case studies.
